Get Contracted With SuranceBay

Contracting Instructions

You will need to have Anti-Money laundering training through an approved provider before you start the process. Anti-money laundering certificates from the carriers will not be accepted. Approved providers are:

Before you start contracting, please watch this video which gives you an overview about how the system works. It includes very valuable information that will save you time.

If you have never gotten contracted under NAIS, you will register as a “NEW USER”.  Other FMO’s may have used this same system but every FMO has their own contracting link. Be sure to write down your password as we will not have the ability to help you retrieve it.

When you are using SureLC, on each screen, there is a tutorial video you can watch that will instruct you on how to use that particular facet of the system.  These videos can be accessed by pressing the “?” icon at the top of the screen.

The main tabs to complete in the system after you have created your profile are as follow (all tabs will turn “green” once they are completed):

  1. NIPR
  2. DBA
  3. Questions (background for contracting)
  4. Licenses (shows all of your licenses)
  5. EFT
  6. History (this tab will not have a green mark)
  7. E&O (SuranceBay offers E&O coverage options during the application if needed)
  8. Training
  9. Scan (Upload your signature and a copy of certificates such as AHIP, LTC, Annuity etc., but not your personal licenses)

Once you have created your profile, please request the specific carrier you wish to sell with so you can get appointed to sell for this carrier. Please keep in mind that some carriers require appointment fees which will be deducted from your banking account.

*Please note that for Traditional Life and Long Term Care carriers you can’t request these contracts unless you have new business to submit.
